Do you charge for callouts?

For emergency callouts, yes — there is a fixed callout fee which covers travel and the first part of the investigation. For non‑emergency work, quotes are free.

 

 

How quickly can you attend an emergency?

In most cases we can attend the same day, and often within a couple of hours depending on location and availability.

 

 

Do you provide certificates for your work?

Yes. All notifiable work is fully certified and registered with Building Control through NICEIC. You’ll receive digital copies for your records.

 

 

How long does an EICR take?

A typical 2–3 bedroom property takes around 3–4 hours depending on access, condition and the number of circuits.

 

 

Do I need a full rewire?

Not always. We’ll assess the condition of your existing wiring and only recommend a rewire if it’s genuinely needed for safety or compliance.

 

 

What areas do you cover?

We cover Bristol, Bath, Northsomerse and surrounding areas. For work slightly outside this, just get in touch and we’ll confirm availability.

 

 

Can you work directly with landlords or tenants?

Yes. We regularly deal with landlords, agents and tenants to arrange access, carry out EICRs and complete any remedial work.
